It’s 2014!

NewYearsEveAll of us here at the Foundation would like to wish YOU a happy new year!

We have all decided to work on ourselves in 2014. These are some of the resolutions being talked about at WWHF this year:

Kristin (who does “to-dos” rather than resolutions):

  • Teach my 6 year old son to ski
  • Take up piano again (after a 20 year hiatus)
  • Re-do the downstairs bathroom

Amanda V.:

  • Read at least 5 books (I’m not a reader)
  • Find/commit to a volunteer job
  • Write more letters to friends and family – who doesn’t love a handwritten letter?
  • Drink more water

  • Do more craft work, particularly working with fabric to make patchwork wall hangings, baby quilts and table runners. It is so relaxing to focus on a project and watch it take shape. 2014 is the year to get my creative juices flowing!

  • Stop hitting the snooze button each morning

  • To learn to knit
  • To take my dog, Oliver, on 2 walks every day
  • To eat out only once a week
  • Read this link once a month

  • Live more in the present, have faith that the future will work out as intended
  • Continue to live a lifestyle that promotes health and happiness
  • Increase communication between family/friends near and far

Amanda B:

  • Give more of my time to others in the form of volunteering at my church and other local charities
